Eleven Forty Nine Makes Room for “Wine Divas”
New restaurant hosts exclusive women-only wine-tasting program beginning October 23
WARWICK, Rhode Island – October 9, 2007 – Eleven Forty Nine Restaurant will turn Tuesday night cocktail hour into something special for women who appreciate wine on October 23, Nov. 6 and 13, from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. The new establishment plays host to an exclusive “Wine Divas” wine-tasting program, offering something for every-woman -- from wine lovers to wine connoisseurs.
Participants can sample wines from around the world and learn all about grapes, regions, sampling, and the secrets to pairing wine with food. The three-day program costs $75. Named for its famed address on the East Greenwich and Warwick line, Eleven Forty Nine is owned by culinary arts veteran, Thomas Wright, and real estate developer, John Picerne, and offers a distinctive city-dining experience in the suburbs.
